4 Year Olds

The catch-phrase of every pre-K aged child has got to be “I can do it myself!” In our Clever Galileos program, we foster and celebrate the independence that children have worked so hard to earn by giving them ample invitations to practice it. Children of this age thrive on opportunities to solve problems independently within a structured environment that instills confidence in their own skills and prepares them for school activities and routines. Some of the skills practiced in the Clever Galileos program include: 

• Counting 10 or more objects 

• Concentrating for longer periods of time 

• Using a fork and spoon 

• Drawing a person with a body 

• Going to the bathroom without assistance 

• Understanding and obeying rules 

• Expressing emotions verbally rather than physically
