2 Year Olds

Our Little Edisons program helps toddlers express themselves with clarity, whether they are pre-verbal or speaking fluently. The toddler years are dominated by a child’s desire to explore and understand their environment in a hands-on way, which is why this program presents plenty of opportunities for movement activities, sensory play, and the development of gross motor coordination. Some of the skills practiced in the Little Edisons program include:

• Cutting with scissors 

• Throwing from a distance 

• Stringing objects using a cord 

• Matching pictures by concept 

• Associating objects and numbers 

• Pairing objects according to colour and pattern 

• Taking things apart and putting them back together again
